Compostmodern is a conference that is organized by volunteers. Below are some of the people who have donated their time to organizing this year's gathering of the sustainable design community.

Rahul Raj

Rahul is regarded by TIME Magazine as one of Canada's leading social entrepreneurs for his innovative approaches to addressing hunger. He has a long standing commitment to the non-profit community, marked most recently by his roles as the Sustainability Chair for AIGA SF and Chair of Compostmodern. He is passionately employed as the lead on Sustainability at Walmart.com

Rob Corwin

Nicole Hasselfeld

Client Services Coordinator A native to the San Francisco bay area, Nicole tends to wear many hats. In career she focuses on digital production, strategy and design for client, Diageo, but in leisure attempts to permeate the local community in every way possible with purpose to sustain it. She is grateful to be a part of the Compostmodern team in support of their community and networking efforts.

Libby is an award-winning, creative professional bringing over 25 years in design, strategy, brand management, communications and marketing. Her design business, Tuvalu Design, focuses on sustainability.

Deena Moore

Deena Moore is a senior designer at method products inc. In her daily work she morphs sustainability, design thinking + innovation to create soap for positive change. Colin Mutchler

Colin explores how digital media can influence behavior and transform culture. Currently, he is applying his digital expertise towards promoting social enterprise, through his work at brand innovation firm Addis Creson, and as Co-Founder of LoudSauce, a social way to crowdfund advertising space for media that matters.

Alaina Percival

Alaina is an internet entrepreneur with a background in marketing and brand management. She is on the marketing team and running social media efforts for Compostmodern 2011.
