WELCOME
We encourage a vibrant discussion of the topics and issues raised at Compostmodern 2011. Writers, journalists, editors and producers affiliated with an appropriate media outlet (including print, broadcast, online) are invited. A press pass must be secured in advance, no exceptions.
SCHEDULE
Compostmodern 2011 is a two-day event, taking place January 22 + 23, 2011. Day one of the conference will be at the Herbst Theatre at 401 Van Ness Avenue. Day two of the conference will be at the Academy of Art at 79 New Montgomery Street. You are welcome to attend either or both days. Please check the schedule for a full listing of presentations and events.
PRESS PASSES
A limited number of press passes are available to the media. Approved press may bring one photographer—although we are happy to accommodate special needs. Please send inquiry and intent with "CM 11 Press Pass Request" in the subject line of your email. Note which media outlet you represent. We will respond promptly.

REGISTRATION
Press must check-in before entering the conference. There will be a special press check-in area on day one at the Herbst Theatre. On day two, please check-in at the general registration area. Please bring some form of ID.
PRESS ROOM + Wi-Fi
A room for interviews and filming will be available on day one of the conference at the Herbst Theatre.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the Herbst Theatre. We will not have a press room at the UnConference—at the Academy of Art. Wi-Fi is available at the Academy in the breakout rooms, but not in the auditorium.

Pending the availability of speakers and producers, we are happy to facilitate interviews in person or by phone.
